Beverley Knight honoured on Broad Street Walk of Stars

The UK’s queen of soul, Beverley Knight was on Broad Street on Saturday to be honoured on the city’s Walk of Stars.
Beverley received her star infront of a crowd of 400 fans in Symphony Hall, where she also performed her latest single and previous hit, ‘Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda’.
Speaking at the presentation Beverley said: I am so honoured! To be told that I was going to be given my own star on Broad Street was just fantastic. I’ve had such a lovely experience being awarded with it, it’s so good to see the well-wishers and see how many people care enough to come and see it happen. It’s an incredible feeling”.
The coveted award will be now embedded in Broad Street’s Walk of Stars alongside those received by other renowned celebrities. Recent stars have been presented to Julie Walters, Frank Skinner and Lenny Henry.
