Broad Street - Britain’s first street to support ‘Have a Heart’

Broad Street will be going red this Friday (19th March) to support Heart fm’s first charity appeal, Have a Heart.

Throughout the day on Friday the public will have their chance to experience great entertainment, eat great food, enjoy themselves and raise money for this worthwhile cause.

The appeal is in aid of Heart’s own charity, Have a Heart, who this year are supporting Starlight Children’s Foundation to provide lasting, year-round entertainment directly onto the wards for thousands of children in hospital and hospices in the communities Heart serves.

Many of Broad Street’s and Brindleyplace’s entertainment and leisure businesses are supporting the appeal:

HIGHLIGHT COMEDY CLUB: Anyone booking either through www.thehighlight.co.uk or by phone on 0844 844 0044 and quotes “STAR10″ will receive £5 tickets (normally £14) and all the £5 will go to the Heart FM appeal for the Friday 19th show.

PIZZA EXPRESS: All customers that make a donation to the appeal can eat for £12. Choices are from the set menu, including drink, starter and main course. Staff will also be donating a percentage of their tips for the evening.

SEALIFE CENTRE: All customers wearing red and making a donation to the appeal will complimentary entry to the Sealife Centre.

Collection buckets will be up and down the street and in various venues including Oh Velvet, Cineworld, Novotel and the ICC where buckets will be available at Cafe Vite, the Centre Shop and Mall Conceirge.
