Tony Iommi is receiving his star on the Broad Street Walk of Star’s this Sunday evening following a day of events in the area.
Firstly, ‘Broad Street Rocks’, a free, open air gig will be taking place on Sunday afternoon on the stage in Centenary Square. Kicking off at 4.30pm you will be able to see local band ‘Max Raptor’ followed at 5.30pm by ‘The Swamis’, alongside entertainment from Kerrang Radio, fire jugglers and stilt walkers.
To finish the whole event from 6pm Johnny Doom from Kerrang Radio will be live on stage to introduce the day’s guest of honour - Tony Iommi, who will receive his Walk of Star honour at 6.30pm.
The city’s Christmas Reindeer and Lantern Parade also takes place this Sunday, starting at 4.30pm in the High Street and finishing at 5.30pm in Brindleyplace.
