Symphony Hall on Broad Street has been nominated for The Culture of the Heart Award, part of the Heart of England Excellence in Tourism Awards 2008.

The tourism ‘Oscars’ celebrate the range of great attractions on offer across the West Midlands. Symphony Hall is one of the busiest halls in the country welcoming over 350,000 concertgoers to over 300 classical, jazz, world, rock and pop events each year, including the Birmingham International Concert Season, and offers awe-inspiring concerts throughout the year.

The public are invited to vote online for the venue they feel has contributed most to the cultural diversity of the region – from concert halls to theatres to stately homes. You can place your vote at http://www.visittheheart.co.uk/CulturePost/.
