Murray Walker: 28th June 2008

The Broad Street BID are delighted to bring you all the news of the activities taking place on June 28th - aka Murray Walker day!

Murray Walker will be appearing at the Sports Cafe on Broad Street at 11am where he will be holding an hour long book signing. Murray’s latest book - The Murray Walker Scrapbook - is out now and copies of the book will be available to buy at the Sports Cafe on the day before meeting the man himself! The presentation of Murray’s “Walk of Star” award will follow at 2.30pm that afternoon. The ceremony will take place outside the House of Sport on Broad Street where Murray will be presented with his star by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Chauhdry Abdul Rashid JP. 

Everyone is welcome to come along and see Murray accepting and unveiling the newest addition to the Broad Street Walk of Stars.
