O Bar’s “Man Auction” raises £200 for charity

The O Bar on Broad Street was host last night to a Charity Man Auction to help raise much needed funds for the Birmingham to Burma appeal.

Four brave men were auctioned in total; Aaron White, Richard Swady, John Thurlow and Stuart Eustace – all employees of businesses within the Broad Street Business Improvement District.

BRMB’s Bobby Hunt was the evening’s auctioneer and quickly got the bidding started. Hands flew up and our brave men were snapped up in no time! Those ladies lucky enough to have gone away with a date for the evening were then escorted by their “man” to the red carpet premiere of the long awaited Sex and the City movie at Cineworld on Broad Street where a glass of champagne was presented to them on their arrival.

A fantastic evening was had by all and our thanks go to all those that took part and attended the event.
